2024 INDUCTEES
2021 Fair Grove Scholar Bowl Team
The FG Scholar Bowl Team took first place in the Missouri Statewide Championship 2021. This team consisted of all underclassmen, requiring each member to study and take on extra practice times.
Team sponsor is Mrs. Wahlquist. Each person brought a different specialty in a subject. They each had to bring their best to the table in order to achieve this success.
The team members were: Charlie Harp, Stephenie Dugan, Abigail Gilmartin, Oakland Wayne Morrison, Christian Allen, Braden Booth, Madilyn Ellis, and Luc Deeds.

2023 Fair Grove Scholar Bowl Team
Only seven members strong, the varsity Scholar Bowl team at Fair Grove High School turned in one dominant performance after another. They ended the season with a 121-6 record, winning the Class 4 state championship, their second state title in three years, plus the 2023 Small School National Championship Tournament.
The all-male team, led by seniors Braden Booth and Christian Allen, also included juniors Nate Waggoner, Charlie Harp, Aiden Cooper and Liam Draper, and freshman Aidyn Owings
"These guys have worked very hard and practiced long hours on their own, not just at school, to get strong in a lot of different areas. They complement each other very well," said English teacher Michelle Wahlquist, the coach.
At the national championship, Booth was honored as an All Star for correctly answering 108 tossup questions during the competition. Allen and Booth were selected to represent Missouri on the national All Stars Academic Team for two or more years. They competed in a virtual tournament that summer against other states and international students. Allen, Booth and Harp were not only the highest scoring members of the team, they were also the highest scoring in the history of Fair Grove High School.

2023 Fair Grove Ladies Volleyball Team
The volleyball team finished a successful season crowning themselves as state champions. It took a lot of steps for them to make it to state. They were determined to focus on the season instead of the postseason. Their goals were to win districts and every game after that. Their team motto was grit and grace and when they got down a teammate would bring that up.
Tonya Peck, the counselor and head coach of the volleyball team at Fair Grove, explained, “Our starting 7 have been absolutely fantastic this season but it also takes all the others to help them get there. We have had so many step up in practice and push the 7 to be better. Those 7 were seniors Hannah Maxwell, Faith Klindworth, Allison Findley. Juniors Brooke Daniels, Shea Skouby, Abbey Green, Ashton Bell. Others that dressed varsity were Emaley Stallings, Meadow Carter, Greta Arnett, Sofee Garrett, Kenna Fishback, Shayla Haddock.”

2023 Fair Grove Ladies Basketball Team
The Fair Grove High School girls basketball team, coached by Jennifer Talbert and assisted by Carrie Green and Jeremy Faubion, won the State Championship title in an intense and close game against El Dorado Springs. Head Coach Jennifer Talbert coached the Lady Eagles at Fair Grove for 13 seasons. Talbert stated, “This group of girls was truly the definition of team. We have some very talented players and we were very balanced. That made it so hard for other teams to defend. Our bench energy was always incredible. We were all in it for each other. They truly embodied that all season long.”
The captains of the team for this season were Kameron Green (12) and Brooke Daniels (10). 2024 Fair Grove Ladies Basketball Team
For the second year in a row, Fair Grove was the 2024 MSHSAA Class 3 Show-Me Showdown champion following a 33-27 win over El Dorado Springs. An unprecedented two-year run for the school has seen it win its only two girls' basketball state championships. Gary Greene had the honor of leading this team with Assistant Coach Jeremy Faubion.
