Fair Grove High School Alumni Association Purpose:
* To assist in the Mission of Fair Grove Schools
* To promote the spirit of alumni unity through communications and reunions .
* To provide members’ time and talents for programs to benefit alumni and students.
* To oversee and manage the annual alumni banquet .
* To support and oversee the Fair Grove School Hall of Fame program .
* To create and support a scholarship program for Fair Grove graduates .
* To instill in alumni a long-term loyalty and dedication to the School and its programs.
* To create activities, social events and reunions for members.
History of Fair Grove Schools
According to Greene County History books, the first school in Fair Grove was a log school built sometime around 1850. Over the next 100 years,, it expanded time after time until the first portions of the current school were built by 1956. Despite the damage caused by the 2009 derecho storm, with winds over 100 mph, today Fair Grove Schools have 1,197 students in the elementary, middle and high school., and the Fair Grove Eagles continue strong in their vision of developing a culture of hope, perseverance, and passion for learning.
